Cheryl Vashti Powell-Gordon

Cheryl Vashti Powell-Gordon is a wife of 44 years, mother of two talented sons, grandmother of two beautiful grandaughters, author of two books, graphic artist, photographer, and business owner.

Bruised but not broken, her emotional journey began at childhood where she experienced the loss of the family unity through the divorce of her parents. This personal devastation could not stop the sense of destiny that God planned for her life.

Her first book, “Through The Valley of Transition: Change,” has helped many people navigate through difficult periods of grief and loss in their lives.

Her second book, “Engraved Messages: Messages from Your Past; Finding the Keys to Release,” which connects the fact that negative words and actions from ones past form the foundation upon which ones future will be built.

Cheryl’s transparent ministry can be characterized and summarized by saying she has yielded and dedicated the huge “over-sized” heart God gave her to bless the lives of all the people God sends across her path. She unselfishly gives of her time, talents, and treasure to impact lives for the kingdom of God. As a “kingdom influencer,” full of compassion Cheryl uses creativity in writing, spoken word, visual artistry, poems, and video presentations. All the creative ideas and initiatives she receives are for the glory of God and the growth of His kingdom!

Her faith in God and love for people is the reason she is here today.
